Dec. 25th:

Oh, so grateful.....as I sit by the fire, hubby and kitties snoozing, I am oh so grateful. For our family being able to spend such a wonderful holiday together, for good health for all...for the music I am being serenaded with (The Canadian Tenors), for our Saviours birth, for my salvation.  For my daughter and her family surprising us at church today, for the amazing wife, mother and young woman she has become.  For the joy of Erik and Angela and their wonderful children....For too much food, for laughing, for this and so much more especially today.....I am oh, soooooo grateful.....

Fri. Dec, 16th:

TGIF!! I am glad Margie was able to get into the chiropractor for her back, and pray she will feel relief soon.  I am grateful for the nice salmon dinner I shared with Lee tonite.

Sat. Dec. 17:

Glad we live as close as we do to be able to help out Margie and Bill, to spend time with Jake., and that we were able to assist in selling the Alero for them. A nice dinner at Vitales with Tommy and Marilyn--nice to get out!

Sun. Dec. 18th:

Good bible class, even if the treats I brought were purchased.  So glad that Julie W is able to work for me Thu. so I can take Jake if needed, and happy that Lee can go Mon and Tue.  Shopping done--beds made--ready for the OK Scotts!

Dec.13th

I love our new shower head, the warmth of my morning rinse!  I am grateful for haveing coffee ready in the am, courtesy of my loving hubby.  I was happy to find the needed ingredients for a dessert for chruch, for having a husband that is such a great cook, and tries new recipes--tonite--chicken pot pie--YUMM!!

Dec. 14th

So happy that my Pinterest account is working--am anxious to try it out.  This morning I exercised, and am so grateful for how I feel after my yoga!  I am very grateful for Lee seeking me out to get the kiss that was forgotten at the door!

Dec. 15th.

Today I am grateful for ibuprofen after overdoing my stretching--I MUST LEARN!  I am very happy that I could get my hair trimmed and colored.  For being there to talk to Kathy D.--a tough time she is having, but doing well, I think.  I am grateful for a warm home, 'building' a fire on a blustery day!

Dec. 12th

A good day at work after a good nights sleep. Getting together with Ketters and Loehrs, such good friends we are blessed with.

Dec. 11th:

Today I was grateful for the Choral service, and for the freshness of Pastor Borgwardts' preaching (encouraging clapping!).  It was so special taking Jake to see the lights, and watching him on Papa's lap.  Family is such a blessing.

Dec. 10th:

A good day, lots accomplished:  cookies for Christmas, cleaning done for Jake coming tomorrow, and a nice evening at home with my wonderful husband.  I am so blessed--looking forward to tomorrow--choral concert at church, and lights at the park with Bill, Margie and Jake! :)

Dec. 9th:
Today I am grateful for a good nights sleep, talks with Margie about Lee and his birthday; a good day at work, and a nice evening with co-workers! And, the start of a week-end!

Dec 8th:

Today I am grateful that I have a handle on Christmas prepartations.  I was so happy to hear we do not walk to the front of church to sing (stay in the pew) for our services on Sun, as I have had some issues with that since Joan died.  I was so relieved--it truly seemed like a answer to prayer. And, a great nite's sleep to boot!  Life is good--God is good!

Dec. 6th:
Today was a busy day at work, I am grateful to have a job in which I can serve others.  Tonite was our Christmas get-together for Ladies' Society.  It is so nice to be able to spend time with those that we share our faith.  Grateful for a warm bed!

Dec. 7th:
Today I am grateful for a warm coat as the temps are beginning to fall.  I am also grateful that I can look forward to spending Christmas with family==all together. 

Dec. 4th:
Today was Sunday.  I am grateful for Redeemer Church and our church family.  I am glad that God  sent us Pastor Borgwardt to lead our congregation.  It was a breezy, rainy day and I was happy to be warm and dry, sharing the joys of our Christmas decorations with my husband.  And, watching the Packers win after seeing that the Badgers are going to the Rose Bowl!

Dec. 5th:
Monday that I was able to get up and exercise. Yoga helped center me for today--a busy one at work, but managed just fine.  I am enjoying the bits and pieces of Andrew Weil's Spontaneous Happiness.  Sharing in the Christmas get-together for Lee's mediation group was a nice ending to the beginning of a busy week.

Gratefulness

I would like to begin to list daily a few of the things I am grateful for:

Dec. 1st:
A successful and benign colonoscopy for Lee; my dental work being completed.  Having the opportunity to decorate church for Christmas, and sing hymns with the choir.

Dec. 2nd:
A busy day at work--serving others.  Having Mike not there, as I was a little put off with him today.  A quiet night at home with a husband who always has time to listen, and support me!

Dec. 3rd:
A wonderful day shopping and catching up with Kathy, Margie, Kerry and Kelly.  It was so nice spending the day with these beautiful young women.  I am so proud of all of them!  I feel so blessed to have such a great lady for my best friend, and am truly grateful to the Lord for placing the Tasch family in our lives.  I was also very excited that Jake recognized me today--I am so in love with that little guy!
